Spaghetti was the first dish I learned how to make…Needless to say, pasta is my favorite food! Give me a plate of noodles and red sauce and I’m a happy camper!
There are endless ways to make pasta, but the best trick I learned is that it’s all about the sauce. Years ago, I stumbled upon a walk-in cooking class in Crate and Barrel. The chef was instructing how to make several italian staples, Marinara sauce being one of them.
I’ve been making this sauce for all my pasts dishes every since. You can add veggies or beef to it and also make it in bulk and freeze it. I do this all the time.
For this dish, I mixed in a few veggies with the sauce and poured it over whole wheat noodles.
